GIMMICKS AND CHARACTERS

Daffney Unger
The original Daffney debuted for WCW in December 1999 and was there until early 2001. The gimmick was inspired by the character Mallory Knox from the movie Natural Born Killers and was a crazy, mad but funny character who was famous for her scream, manical laughter and slogan tops. The Daffney character in WCW was meant to be a heel but developed a cult following and became popular with fans.

Lucy Furr
The character of Lucy Furr (or just Lucy in some promotions) is different to the Daffney one. Lucy Furr talks with a high-pitched voice and plays mind games and tricks on opponents in the ring. She has appeared in promotions such as WEW, XPW and ROH and was also the character Daffney used when under her WWE Developmental Contract in 2003 when working for OVW.

Shark Girl
The gimmick of Shark Girl has been used by Daffney in the SHIMMER promotion mainly as a singles wrestler and she has also used it as a valet for Shark Boy, who inspired the gimmick. Dressed in pink and sporting a shark mask, Shark Girl is fun and entertaining and shows another side to the many talents of Daffney.

Draculetta
Daffney took on the character of Draculetta in Wrestlicious, she comes out of a coffin for her entrance and hangs like a bat upside down on the ring ropes. Draculetta is part of a tag team with White Magic, called Ghouls Gone Wild.

The Governor
The character of The Governor in TNA was a spoof of Governor Sarah Palin at the time of the elections, since Daffney is a trained actress in real life, she was snapped up to play this role and did a superb job of it. The angle saw her fool The Beautiful People as part of a prank set up by Taylor Wilde and Roxxi, until the scam was exposed which led to TBP hacking off Daffneys hair, leading on to the new era and return of the Daffney character.

Daffney
The Daffney of TNA was a more evolved Daffney than is remembered from WCW. She is more dark, more scary, more Gothic and crazier than ever. The slogan tops have been replaced by corsets and we also got to see with it, the excellent wrestling skills Daffney has acquired over the years on the Indie circuit.
